}Send a test message through a channel
Sends a stock connectivity-test message through the channel’s real transport, so you can verify a webhook receiver, email address, Slack channel, or Teams workflow actually works. It is not an alert: nothing is persisted, no other channel is notified, and it does not depend on the channel’s subscriptions.
A transport failure is reported as 200 with ok: false and an error string — the request succeeded, the delivery did not.

A Barndoor API key, sent as Authorization: Bearer <key>. Keys are prefixed bdai_ and are opaque — do not attempt to decode one. Interchangeable with an OAuth 2.0 access token.
Path Parameters
Response
Successful Response
Result of sending a stock connectivity-test message through a channel's real transport.
Delivery failure is reported here as ok: false with a 200 status, not as an HTTP error:
the request to test succeeded, the transport is what failed.
